Item Handing - Letters, Packages, Large Parcels & Freight Shipments

Your incoming mail, packages and other items are divided into the following handling groups. 

Letters - 0 > 750g

Letters are classed as anything up to and including a Royal Mail Large Letter with a maximum weight of 750 grams. With our Virtual Office Services letters are by default forwarded by Royal Mail 1st Class Standard Post. You can however opt to use any of the following services by default on your account. 
  1. Royal Mail 1st Class
  2. Royal Mail 2nd Class 
  3. Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery
  4. Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery 
  5. Royal Mail 24 with Delivery Confirmation 
  6. FedEx Next Day by 18:00

Small Parcels & Packages - 751g > 2000g (Max 61cm x W 46cm x D 46cm)

Anything that arrives which falls into the above weight and size, by default the account holder will be notified by email the same working day, asking which service they would like to use. You can advise Reception that you would just like Small Parcels forwarded automatically via your preferred service when they arrive to avoid any delays, or just let us know how the item that's arrived should be forwarded.  
  1. Royal Mail 24 with Delivery Confirmation
  2. Royal Mail 48 with Delivery Confirmation (45cm x 35cm x 16cm)
  3. Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am®
  4. Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm®
  5. Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery (45cm x 35cm x 16cm)
  6. Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery (45cm x 35cm x 16cm)
  7. FedEx Next Day by 18:00

Large Parcels - 2KG > 25KG

With large parcels we currently only use FedEx for forwarding, they offer a range of Domestics and International services to suit all requirements. The same default setting is used, as with small parcels, we will notify you via email asking how you would like to proceed when a large item arrives. You can also set this to automatic forwarding if you wish. 
  1. FedEx Next Day by 18:00
  2. FedEx Next Day by 12:00
  3. FedEx Next Day by 10:00

Length x Width x Height divided by 5000 should not be greater than 25KG, if it is greater additional cost my apply to the stated standard rate when we email. 

Extra Large Items & Freight - 25KG > 1000KG

OfficeServ offers a complete service and that includes handing freight and large deliveries that require lifting equipment like forklifts. Deliveries like this must be arranged with the office prior to arrival to avoid delivery issues and insure space for your shipment is available.
